Commissioned by 2nd Viscount Courtenay and sold by his son, 3rd Viscount Courtenay, at Christie’s on 15 February 1817 was a group of “Capital Loose Drawings by Towne”. Lot 5, A View from the North West[sic] window of the Belvedere, went for 15s. to Thompson.
