Of the eleven watercolours purchased by the Snows, certainly four (numbered 3, 4, 7, and 9: FT426, FT428, FT431, FT432) and at most six (numbered 2 and 6: FT425, FT430) survive. Therefore Thomas Snow owned at least five watercolour views of Rome (FT427a, FT427b, FT427c, FT427d, FT427e) that have not been recorded since the 1880s and were numbered 1, 5, 8, 10, and 11.
